You can delete your account and all associated personal data in either of two ways:
When your account is deleted, we remove the following from our systems:
| Data | Where it lives |
|---|---|
| Your account profile (name, email, Google ID) | Application database |
| Saved birth charts and divisional charts | Application database |
| Friend/connection compatibility records you created | Application database |
| Journal entries | Application database |
| AI Chart Chat history | Application database |
| Feedback you submitted | Application database |
| Activity/streak history | Application database |
| Invites and referrals you created or used, and subscription records | Application database |
| Your own rows in the legacy backup tables that carry a user identifier (3 of the 6) | Application database |
| Your sign-in (the Google-linked login) | Supabase authentication |
Deletion is immediate and synchronous: everything above is removed in a single request, not on a delayed schedule, and you are signed out. Paid plans are not live yet, so there is no Stripe record to remove; once they launch, this page will describe how subscriptions are cancelled on deletion.
A narrow set of records may survive account deletion for a limited time, strictly where a third-party processor or legal obligation requires it:
Nothing else is retained. We do not keep a “shadow copy” of your birth data, chart history, or chat content after deletion.
If someone else used our compatibility feature to submit your birth details (as a friend, partner, or family connection) without going through your own account, you can still request deletion of that record by emailing support@birthhue.com with enough detail for us to locate it (the name/date used and, if known, the account that submitted it). A parent or guardian may also request deletion of a child’s details submitted to BirthHue, using the same email.
If you generated a chart for your own child, you can delete it yourself from your account at any time. Deleting your account removes every chart you created, including those for other people. The child has no BirthHue account of their own.
If you want a copy of your data before deleting your account, use Settings → Export My Data to download a JSON export of everything covered in Section 2 above, or request it by email.
